Share, download, and print classroom materials

Prepare a teaching document for sharing or download and check page layout before using it with students.

Review the working document first

Open the document you want to use and review the title, directions, questions, and any answer content. Remove draft notes that should not appear in student materials.

For image-based resources, remember that text inside the image is not separately editable. Interactive controls also do not become interactive on a printed page.

Use the document’s sharing controls

Choose Share or download in the document header. Use the actions offered for that document type. Check the selected format and destination before confirming a download or sharing a link.

Available output actions can differ by resource type. Do not assume a worksheet, an interactive activity, and a presentation have the same export options.

Inspect the output

Open the downloaded file or preview before class. Check page breaks, cropped content, readable text, and answer space. When printing, confirm the paper size and scaling in your browser or print dialog.

If a page overflows, shorten content, adjust the layout, or move material to another page rather than relying on extreme print scaling.

Check access and plan limits

A shared link can make content accessible to its recipients. Review what you are sharing and avoid including private student information. Resource downloads may depend on your plan and remaining allowance; see the pricing page and your account’s Usage view for current details.
