Image worksheets, editable documents, and interactive resources

Choose the right Sparkclass resource format and understand what can be edited, previewed, or used interactively.

Image worksheets

An image worksheet stores its page content as an image. It can be useful when you want to preserve an illustrated page layout. Text drawn inside the image is not ordinary document text: you cannot select a word in the picture and format it like a paragraph.

If you need different wording or questions, look for an editable resource or create a new document. Do not assume that opening an image worksheet converts it into editable text.

Editable worksheets and documents

Editable materials use document content that can be changed in the editor. Depending on the block, you can revise text, insert content, reorder sections, or add problems.

This is a good choice when you want to adjust directions or combine practice for a particular group of students. Some embedded content still has its own editing limitations.

Interactive resources

Interactive materials include on-screen controls for exploring a concept. Open the resource and use the controls it provides. Their behavior depends on the individual activity.

Try an activity yourself before projecting it. A printed image cannot preserve sliders, animations, or other live interactions.

Public previews and classroom use

Public previews help you decide whether a resource fits. Watermarks and preview masking are part of that browsing experience. Open the resource in the workspace for the available use and download actions. Choose based on the task you need students to do, not just the appearance of the thumbnail.
