Getting started

Find your way around the Sparkclass workspace

Understand Workspace, Files, My Library, and Community, and choose the right starting point for your next lesson.

Start a task in Workspace

Workspace is where you ask AI for help with a lesson or teaching material. A task can include follow-up requests, so you can refine a draft without starting over. Recent tasks let you return to earlier conversations.

Manage your own work in Files

Files contains your working documents and folders. Use it to open, rename, and organize materials you are preparing. Switch between the compact grid and list views to browse visually or scan names and edited dates.

Discover resources in Community

Community is the shared resource browser. Files are complete materials; Problems are individual questions you can use when assembling practice. Filter the collection by grade, standard, resource type, and classroom scene.

The public Resources section lets visitors discover and preview materials before opening the workspace. Previewing a resource and creating your own working document are different steps.

Return to saved resources in My Library

My Library is where you return to resources you have saved. It is different from Files: saving a resource helps you find it again, while your working documents belong in Files.

For example, save a useful fractions problem to My Library, then add it to a document you keep in a Grade 5 unit folder.
